Terms of Service
These terms apply to SellSnap: the website sellsnap.me, the product pages at sellsnap.me/buy and the seller app at app.sellsnap.me. By using SellSnap as a seller, you accept them.
1. Who we are
SellSnap is operated by Soheyb Boulaa, an auto-entrepreneur registered in Algeria (auto-entrepreneur card no. 109707240144125398, NIF 19718090144116201880), called “SellSnap”, “we” or “us” in these terms.
Contact: support@sellsnap.me.
2. What SellSnap does
SellSnap lets a seller publish product pages called Snaps. Each Snap shows one product with its options, a price in Algerian dinars (DA), the seller’s delivery terms and a cash-on-delivery order form. Buyers send orders from the Snap. The seller receives them in the SellSnap app, with a notification on the devices where they turned notifications on, and manages them there.
SellSnap does not sell, stock, ship or deliver goods, and it is not a party to the sale between the seller and the buyer.
3. Your account and your team
You sign in with a Google or Facebook account. SellSnap stores no password for you. Anyone who controls that account can act in your workspaces, so keep it secure.
You can own up to 5 workspaces. The owner of a workspace can invite managers and staff and decide what each of them may do. The owner is responsible for what the team does in the workspace.
SellSnap is for sellers in Algeria. Buyers do not need an account to order.
4. What you are responsible for
SellSnap does not ask for a trade-register entry, an auto-entrepreneur card or a tax number to open a workspace. You are responsible for your own registration, your taxes and the products you sell, and for following the law that applies to your business.
Law 18-05 on e-commerce (Art. 3) forbids selling certain goods online, among them gambling, alcohol and tobacco, medicines, and counterfeit goods. You must not sell them, or anything else the law forbids, through SellSnap.
You are responsible for your product, its description, photos and price, your delivery terms, and each order you accept.
5. The beta
SellSnap is in a free beta. During the beta SellSnap sells nothing: your Snap credit comes from the free Snap credit every new seller gets, the first-publish bonus and any Snap credit we grant you. When the beta ends, top-ups open (section 7).
6. Snap credit and duration packs
- Snap credit is a prepaid balance in DA, held in a workspace’s Wallet, for SellSnap’s own service. It keeps Snaps active, able to take new orders.
- Putting a Snap live or giving it more days is a checkout that spends Snap credit from the workspace’s Wallet on a duration pack. The balance must cover the pack. Longer packs cost less per day. The packs are listed on the pricing page, and the app shows their prices in DA at checkout.
- During the beta, you get 300 DA of free Snap credit, once per person, on the first workspace you own. When a workspace you own first puts a Snap live, you get 20 DA more, once per person. Deleting a workspace, creating another, or deleting your account and signing up again does not earn them again.
- Snap credit never expires. Editing, pausing or viewing a Snap does not use it.
- Snap credit cannot move to another person or workspace, cannot be cashed out, and cannot pay for anything outside SellSnap. Free Snap credit belongs to the person it was granted to; Snap credit bought in a top-up belongs to the workspace that paid for it.
7. Top-ups and receipts
Top-ups open after the beta. Until then, none of this section applies.
- You top up in the app, in DA, by CIB or Edahabia, on the page of a payment platform run by a bank approved by the Banque d’Algérie or by Algérie Poste. There is no payment on sellsnap.me.
- Prices are in DA. The operator is an auto-entrepreneur and charges no TVA, so prices and receipts carry no TVA line.
- Snap credit is added to the Wallet only after our server confirms the payment with the payment platform.
- Promo codes, when offered, lower the DA amount of one top-up. They never add Snap credit.
- Each paid top-up has a SellSnap receipt in the app, in the Wallet, naming the operator.
8. Refunds
Snap credit is a digital service, delivered as soon as the payment is confirmed. There is no self-serve refund.
We refund when we are at fault: for example a double charge, a paid top-up we failed to fulfil, or an outage that took your money and delivered nothing. We do not refund because a Snap did not sell, a drop did not perform, or you changed your mind. Any other refund is at our discretion.
Every refund goes back through the payment platform to the card that paid. We make no refund by bank transfer or in cash.
A refund takes back only the Snap credit from that payment that you have not spent yet. Your balance never goes below zero. Days already used stay used, and Snaps already live stay live.
To ask for a refund, write to support@sellsnap.me.
9. Active, paused and expired Snaps
An active Snap takes new orders until the end of its days. When a Snap is paused or expires, its link shows an “unavailable” screen and it takes no new orders. Orders you already received stay in the app. A new checkout puts the Snap live again.
10. Orders and cash on delivery
Orders on a Snap are cash on delivery. The buyer pays the seller when the goods arrive; the money stays between them and never passes through SellSnap. The seller confirms each order, delivers it, and handles returns and disputes with the buyer.
11. Your content
Your photos, videos, texts, logo and product information stay yours. You allow us to store, process (for example resize photos and convert videos) and display them in order to run SellSnap, including on your Snaps and in link previews.
What you publish must be accurate and lawful, and you must have the right to use it. Snaps are built from structured fields; you cannot add your own code to a page.
Every Snap shows a small SellSnap mark in its footer.
12. Acceptable use and suspension
You must not use SellSnap to sell goods the law forbids, mislead or defraud buyers, publish content that infringes someone else’s rights, impersonate another shop or person, send fake orders or abuse the order form, or try to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
We may pause a Snap, suspend a workspace or disable an account to stop abuse, a forbidden sale or a breach of these terms. A suspended workspace takes no new orders and cannot put Snaps live, and its owner cannot create another workspace.
13. Buyer data you receive
When a buyer orders, you and the team members you allow see their name, phone number and address so you can confirm and deliver the order. Use this data only for that order. SellSnap removes it automatically after a set period, as described in the Privacy Policy.
14. Availability
We work to keep SellSnap available, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To protect sellers from spam, the order form may refuse new orders for a short time when one of our safety systems is down. The current state of the service is shown at status.sellsnap.me.
15. Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for sales you did not make, for disputes between you and your buyers, or for losses caused by delivery companies, sign-in providers or other services we do not control. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law does not allow to be removed.
16. Ending
You can stop using SellSnap at any time. The owner can delete a workspace from the app. When a workspace is deleted, buyer personal data in its orders is removed at once; the order records without that data and the Snap credit history are kept. You can also delete your account in the app; the Privacy Policy says what is erased and what is kept.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. The new version is published on this page with a new date. If you keep using SellSnap after an update, the new terms apply.
18. Applicable law and language
These terms are under Algerian law. They are written in English; the French and Arabic pages are translations.
